Review of the film Prince: Sivakarthikeyan's charm makes it silly

Prince by Sivakarthikeyan could be categorised as an experimental comedy movie.

I use the word experimental because it isn't as thoroughly enjoyable as some of his other movies

But it also succeeds as an eccentric attempt to present a different kind of humour.

You might even describe it as silly humour

which was masterfully executed in Anudeep's most recent movie, Jathi Ratnalu.

It mostly works in Prince as well, which contributes to the comedy's refreshing, if not wildly entertaining, nature.

When you don't take the movie seriously, it works.

As Anbu's father (Ulaganathan), Sathyaraj is a fervent anti-casteist who wants his son to wed someone from a different caste.
